First of all, you don't know what you are talking about. As far as people appearing to be "Zombies", that would be in the atheist department with their unquenchable thirst for 'blasting' people's brains with electronic devices and doing their best to 'brain wash' the masses with propaganda of evolution / atheism.

Here is Ravi's biographical information, which proves without a doubt he is a 'intellectual'.

For 35 years Ravi Zacharias has spoken all over the world and in numerous universities, notably Harvard, Princeton, and Oxford University.

He has addressed writers of the peace accord in South Africa, the president's cabinet and parliament in Peru, and military officers at the Lenin Military Academy and the Center for Geopolitical Strategy in Moscow.

At the invitation of the President of Nigeria, he addressed delegates at the First Annual Prayer Breakfast for African Leaders held in Mozambique.

Dr. Zacharias has direct contact with key leaders, senators, congressmen, and governors who consult him on an ongoing basis.

He has addressed the Florida Legislature and the Governor’s Prayer Breakfast in Texas, and has twice spoken at the Annual Prayer Breakfast at the United Nations in New York, which marks the beginning of the UN General Assembly each year.

As the 2008 Honorary Chairman of the National Day of Prayer, he gave addresses at the White House, the Pentagon, and The Cannon House.

Dr. Zacharias was born in India in 1946 and immigrated to Canada with his family twenty years later. While pursuing a career in business management, his interest in theology grew; subsequently, he pursued this study during his undergraduate education.

He received his Masters of Divinity from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois. Well-versed in the disciplines of comparative religions, cults, and philosophy, he held the chair of Evangelism and Contemporary Thought at Alliance Theological Seminary for three and a half years.

Mr. Zacharias has been honored by the conferring of a Doctor of Divinity degree both from Houghton College, NY, and from Tyndale College and Seminary, Toronto, and a Doctor of Laws degree from Asbury College in Kentucky.

He is presently Visiting Lecturer at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford University in Oxford, England.

Dr. Zacharias has been a visiting scholar at Cambridge University, where he studied moralist philosophers and literature of the Romantic era. While at Cambridge he also authored his fi rst book, A Shattered Visage: The Real Face of Atheism , updated and republished in 2004 by Baker as The Real Face of Atheism .

His second book, Can Man Live without God (Word, 1994), was awarded the Gold Medallion for best book in the category of doctrine and theology, and Jesus Among Other Gods (Word, 2000) was nominated for a Gold Medallion. In all, Mr. Zacharias has authored or edited twenty books, including Walking from East to West: (Zondervan, 2006), The Grand Weaver (Zondervan, 2007), and Beyond Opinion (Thomas Nelson, 2008), which includes contributions from Ravi Zacharias International Ministries’ global team. His latest books are The End of Reason: A Response to the New Atheists (Zondervan, 2008) and New Birth or Rebirth: Jesus Talks to Krishna (Multnomah, 2008).

Several of his books have been translated into Russian, Chinese, Korean, Thai, and other languages.

At the invitation of Billy Graham, Mr. Zacharias was a plenary speaker at the International Conference for Itinerant Evangelists in Amsterdam in 1983, 1986, and 2000.

He is listed as a distinguished lecturer with the Staley Foundation and has appeared on CNN and other international broadcasts. His weekly radio program, “Let My People Think,” is aired on more on almost 1700 outlets worldwide, and his weekday program, “Just Thinking,” on almost 400.

He is founder and chairman of the board of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with additional offices in Canada, India, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates, and Hong Kong.

Mr. Zacharias and his wife, Margie, have three grown children. They reside in Atlanta.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (Amplified Bible)

13 Now also we would not have you ignorant, brethren, about those who fall asleep [in death], that you may not grieve [for them] as the rest do who have no hope [beyond the grave].

14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will also bring with Him through Jesus those who have fallen asleep [in death].

15 For this we declare to you by the Lord's [own] word, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall in no way precede [into His presence] or have any advantage at all over those who have previously fallen asleep [in Him in death].

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud cry of summons, with the shout of an archangel, and with the blast of the trumpet of God. And those who have departed this life in Christ will rise first.

17 Then we, the living ones who remain [on the earth], shall simultaneously be caught up along with [the resurrected dead] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so always (through the eternity of the eternities) we shall be with the Lord!

PLEASE NOTE: After an experience I had with an atheist yesterday at Huntington Beach, this will be the end of Atheist Central, as we have known it. Details tomorrow.

Honeybee (a Christian) said, "They are very brave about mocking Him while all is well with them. I doubt that they will find it so easy to mock Him as they lay on their death beds." Noble (an Atheist) replied, "Nobody's mocking non-existent Jesus! We're mocking you!"

Let’s get one thing very clear. Noble doesn’t even know this Christian to whom he is addressing himself. He is not mocking Honeybee at all, but what Honeybee believes. He is contemptuous of her because she is a believer in Jesus. A criminal may show disdain for a police officer, but his disdain isn’t for the individual but for that for which he stands. He hates the law and he therefore despises anyone who represents that law.

Look at what Jesus said about His followers and the world's scorn: "He that hears you hears me; and he that despises you despises me; and he that despises me despises Him that sent me" (Luke 10:16).

So what’s at the root of the world's mockery? Romans 8:7 tells us (here is the old King James Version): "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be."

Here now is the Amplified Version (which brings out the meaning of the original Greek in which it was written): "[That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God's Law; indeed it cannot."

So the root cause of the atheist’s contempt for the Christian is exactly the same as the criminal’s contempt for the police officer. He rebels against God's Law. Yet he must face that wrath-filled Law on the Day of Judgment. What a terrifying Day that will be...when the long arm of that holy Law reaches right into his sinful heart: "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God" (Hebrews 10:31). How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation...? (Hebrews 2:3).
